Pimento Cheese Roasted Pecans

It doesn’t matter if you pronounce them PEEcan or pu-KHAN adding a little “Pimmenah” Cheese Seasoning after roasting these native nuts in a little buter just might makes these the most delicious and addictive bar snack ever. The best part is they are easy breezy to make, you just melt, mix, bake and season! We recommended keeping them in them stocked in your pantry at all times. You never know when someone just might pop by for a drink and nibble.

Makes 2 cups

Ingredients

2 cups raw pecans

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 tablespoon Pimento Cheese Seasoning

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

In a sauce pan, melt the butter over low heat. When it is bubbling, remove from heat and stir in the pecans, mixing well to coat the pecans. Pour pecans onto a sheet pan and spread in a single layer.

Bake for 10 - 15 minutes until they begin to brown and fill your home with their nutty fragrance. Be mindful to keep a watchful eye, they can go from golden brown to burnt in a blink of an eye!

Remove from the oven, and allow them to cool on the pan for 3-4 minutes. Sprinkle the Pimento Cheese Seasoning over the pecans and mix well. Don’t forget to taste test!!

Allow pecans to cool to room temperature. Serve or store in an air tight container.
